Hey Stampers! From time to time I get asked why I joined Stampin' Up! and what I like most about owning a business.
Let's be honest. The reason I joined was to get a discount on my own paper products. I was happy to save money and I really didn't think about much else in the beginning. But, within a fairly short time I saw how I could still get my discount but I had something so valuable to share with others. It was a little scary at first, but I started talking to everyone about Stampin' Up!
That was about 18 years ago! Who knew that a little rubber stamp would be the start of a truly fun journey in which I've made so many friends, gotten to go on some pretty awesome trips and helped others accomplish some of their goals and dreams.
Helping others is truly my favorite part of owning my business. OK, we all love saving money and being among the first to get our hands on new “stuff”, right? I don't know about you but that's never been enough to keep me in. I love having dear friends who share my passion and it's so fun to hear stories of my team members retiring debt, buying that new pair of ballet shoes, or taking a family vacation for the first time in a long time!
