Here is a bit more detailed info on the Blendabilities I posted about earlier this morning!
If you love Copic markers but hate the price, you will love these: alcohol markers that blend beautifully and even a marker that removes color if you make a mistake. The color chart below shows the 12 color groups that will come in sets of 3 for 11.95 (US).
Each circle you see represents the 3 gradient colors that blend together. There is a set of 6 skin tones, and the “color remover” pen as well. The markers will not be refillable so they can be sold at a lower price point than other alcohol markers. They will not replace our regular markers – the alcohol markers dry too fast to use on your stamps or with Blender Pens or Aquapainters. Think of Blendabilities as another “color tool” to add to your tool kit! They are square so they won’t roll off your table, and have a bullet tip on one end, brush tip on the other. Stampin' Up! recommends using the Memento Tuxedo Black pad (which we will carry) and not using StazOn, which is an alcohol based pad.
They are hoping to have available in early March; of course, I’ll keep you posted.
Another bit of news – 2 new Photopolymer sets are coming out and here's some info about SU manufacturing them in our Kanab facility. Photopolymer stamps have an odor when they are made and this carries through in the packaging…but many stampers love the image created by this type of stamp. Sara Douglas said from stage that the manufacturing facility in Kanab will be using a new type of photopolymer that doesn’t create a problem for the employees in manufacturing and maybe smells a little like chocolate Won't that be great!! 🙂 Photopolymer stamps will be included in the annual catalog and will be available in clear mount cases!
Stay tuned for more exciting news!
