Glimmering Blackberry Bliss

Blackberry Bliss is my favorite color from Stampin' Up!'s 2014-2016 In Color Collection! I use it all the time in my clubs and classes and so far my customers don't seem to be sick of it!

(this lovely card was done by Sue Hansford, one of our talented UK Demos)

Did you know that you can”spritz” Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper? You just put a few re-inker drops and either water or alcohol into a spritzer bottle and then add the color to your paper. You can also lay down one of our decorative masks and then spritz. It does take awhile to dry, even when you use alcohol. You can use a heat tool to set or heat emboss with Iridescent Ice where you've added the color. But WAIT…have you seen “glimmering Blackberry Bliss”?

Fill an Aqua Painter with rubbing alcohol and a few drops of Blackberry Bliss Re-inker…experiment with the proportions to get the shade you like. Apply across the Glimmer Paper and you'll get saturated color, which will then work perfectly as a card focal point.

Which is your favorite 2014 – 2016 In Color? I'll put everyone's name who leaves a comment here on my blog into a basket and randomly draw one; the winner will receive something in that color from me in the mail!! I'm looking forward to seeing which color gets the most votes!

  1. Stampin Up has always had awesome “In Colors” but I am going to have to say, Lost Lagoon would be my favorite from the 2014-2016 In Color selection…
